Hunted Anime’s Continuity Is ‘Young Justice-Adjoining’

Catwoman: Hunted author Greg Weisman says the continuity of the anime-style DC movie is “adjoining” to that of the Young Justice animated collection.

Young Justice co-showrunner Greg Weisman says DC’s anime-style movie Catwoman: Hunted is “Young Justice-adjacent” in its continuity.

Weisman, the screenwriter behind Catwoman: Hunted, spoke to the upcoming DC Universe Animated Authentic Film in a latest publish to his web site, S8.org. He says that whereas the movie technically would not happen on Earth-16, its occasions nonetheless maintain relevance in Young Justice’s world.

In the meantime, Young Justice: Phantoms — the fourth season of the Young Justice animated collection developed by Weisman and Brandon Vietti — not too long ago premiered on HBO Max. Phantoms debuted its first two episodes throughout the DC FanDome digital conference on Saturday, Oct. 16, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays. The season is slated to run for a complete of 26 episodes.

Phantoms will air its first 13 episodes by means of Thursday, Dec. 30. It would then go on hiatus earlier than returning for its remaining 13 episodes in spring 2022.
